In 2021, it would be 75 years old to the famous Russian sociologist and translator Boris Vladimirovich Dubin - a subtle expert on European culture, literature and poetry, public intellectual, the author of several hundred work, laureate of numerous prizes in Russia and abroad. In the circle of Russian humanities, he is known primarily as the sociologist of the Levada Center, who worked in the research paradigm of Yuri Levada. He is familiar to a wide circle of readers as a first -class translator of poetry and prose - Spanish, French, English, Hungarian, Polish. Many authors, which made up the color of European culture of the twentieth century, became available to the Russian reader thanks to Boris Dubin.
