The girl was born in the far of 1925 weak, premature, and on the very first day remained an orphan. She took the girl into the midwife family, called Galina. Being very small, she repeatedly heard the adoptive mother prayed when her crib was put under the image: "Lord, take all of mine, but leave Galya - this girl is blessed by God.
All her life Galina, the nun Angelina, and then Khimonakhin, Ksenia walked along the armor between life and death, but the Lord kept his chosen one. He gave her to the spiritual mentors of Jeroschimonah Simeon (now the St. Simeon Pskov-Pechersky), the Valaam elder, Jeroschimonakh Mikhail (Pitkevich) and the St. Petersburg old man Olga (Bogdanov-Bari) Mother sacredly kept the memory of each of them and at every meeting she shared the memories of "old men" with her spiritual children. The defective stories of the Ksenia schemits (and in the scheme she was nearly 50 years old!) Forms the basis of this publication.
