This book is devoted to the study of various aspects of meditation of attentiveness, being a continuation of the previously published monograph by Anlayo Bhikkkhu "direct path to implementation. Fundamentals of attentiveness. " In his new study, the author relies on excerpts from Satipatthan-Sutta, who is in the meeting of the Majimanika of the Theravadinsky Pali canon, as well as to Madhyam-Agam and Ecottarik-Agam, preserved in Chinese translation. When comparing various canonical texts dedicated to Satipatthana, Analio identified options for meditative practices that are common to all, as well as those that are presented only in individual treatises. Of particular interest to readers is the author’s deep analysis of such important topics as five obstacles, ways to overcome them and seven awakening factors
