Archpriest Alexander Men is an outstanding figure in the Russian Orthodox Church, preacher, theologian, enlightener, author of dozens of books on the history of religion, the foundations of Christian creed, Orthodox worship. This book opens the author’s series "in search of the path, truth and life", dedicated to the background of Christianity, the search for God. Written by a Christian, it is nevertheless focused on the most wide reader, interested in an unbiased attitude to a religious tradition. Extensive knowledge, accessibility of the presentation, a confidential conversation with the reader, excluding any propaganda, are the qualities due to which Alexander’s work does not lose my relevance today.
