The novices of the kingdom of heaven. Manuscript found in the attic

The history of this collection is very mysterious. The Russian hieromonk I., who had rested on Athos in 2014, brought a common notebook read out on the Holy Mountain during a visit to one desert on the Holy Mountain, in which these narratives were recorded.
The basis of stories are real events from the spiritual life of "stinging and eagering truths" (Matthew 5: 6) They collect the spiritual wealth of the human soul, exciting the main and all -consuming idea: its salvation. It is told about people who persistently resist the sinfulness of human nature, striving to escape from the banalities of everyday vegetation into the world of asceticism, prayer and solitary life that bears the grace of the grace forces.
