"The most important gentleman" is the first book of the literary texts of Father Pavel Velikanov. This is a collection of small stories and notes describing a variety of periods and aspects of the priest’s life. These are stories from his seminars of everyday life, and a traveler, and thin, with light, Athos, portraits, impressions. The collection also includes stories about parishioners and his own family life.
Why did we publish this book
The circle of those stories included in the collection is consonant with many people and unusually diverse: from the eternal issues of Russian literature - the fate of a "little man", compassion, human indifference, the search for a spiritual path - to funny social behavioral incidents that happened to the heroes of the book.

About the author
Pavel Velikanov - a priest of Russian? Orthodox? Churches, archpriest. Rector of Pyatnitsky Compound of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra in Sergiev Posad. He graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy, where since 1998 he teaches "main theology", associate professor. Candidate of theology. The author of the programs for "Radio Vera" and "Radio of Russia". The author of the books "School of faith", "I am in search of meaning", "Simple answers to complex questions", "axioms of faith".
