"The main course of the philosophy of yogis" is an introduction to a series of books published by Yoga Ramacharaka at the beginning of the last century. This book can be very useful to Russian readers, especially those who are completely unfamiliar or have only a “hat” acquaintance with the ideas of intangible psychology. This work is an initial book for those who want to get acquainted with the mystical thought of the East. She exactly seeks to introduce the reader into the circle of ideas, hitherto unknown to him, and therefore has the character of more or less encyclopedic. We are sure that our readers will appreciate how successfully the author coped with this task, because after meeting his book, the reader will be able to navigate the complex issues of philosophy and psychology, which were previously completely incomprehensible and inaccessible to him. He will be able to have his own opinion, his opinion regarding the most confusing and complex problems of life. The main idea of yogis, like all occultists, is to expand the view of man and nature. Materialism, in general, is Marxism, in particular, we narrowed our eyes too much and impoverished our vision. People beyond measure are used to looking at the world as a manifestation of mechanical forces, and at their own consciousness and their life - almost as an accident in the dead and deprived of the consciousness of the Universe. Such a worldview is an expression of a mental illness that struck the human society, capaciously designated by the word “soullessness”. In his book, Yoga Ramaccharak leads the reader from Profansky to a completely different understanding of the world and himself. He explains that a person is not a clot of cells and nerves, not a conglomerate of atoms, i.e. The body or, roughly speaking, a “piece of meat”, but the soul, consciousness is the spark of an immortal and eternal spirit, surrounded by illusions created by its own lower shells and shells of other people. So the author points to the beginning of the path, having entered which, a person will be able to gradually free himself from these illusions and know himself
