Rozanov Sergey Pavlovich (1870 - no earlier than 1930) worked in the library of the USSR Academy of Sciences and composed more than one annals. In this life, the story of the life of the Monk Abraham Smolensky is told, whose activity falls on the last quarter of the XII and the first quarter of the XIII century. He was the center of the struggle of all layers of Smolensk society and, despite all the difficulties, came out the winner, and after death he was awarded the title of heavenly patron Smolensk.
