The greatest Serb of the 20th century, St. Nicholas Serbsky (Velimirovich, 1880-1956) is certainly the most vivid and large-scale person in the latest history of the Balkans. Long before the official canonization (May 2003), prayerly revered in the entire Orthodox world, he was also given the most precious gifts of the Holy Spirit at the time of his earthly life.
In the goddessed essay, Vladyka Nicholas in a concentrated form, the entire fullness of church history and legend is represented. The Okrid Prologue was initially addressed not only to Serbian, but also to the Russian reader, to each Orthodox Christian in general.
