Excerpts included in this book were taken from the epistolary heritage of St. Athanasius, Bishop of Kovrovsky, the compiler of the service to all the Russian saints, the confessor of the faith of the 20th century. A huge part of the life of the Lord was in prisons, camps and links, during which he did not leave the flock entrusted to him, supporting his spiritual children with prayer and letters. The word of St. Athanasius, of course, will serve as a consolation and modern man. At the end of the book, the prayer “On the Continuation of Wars and the World of the whole world” was placed, composed by the saint in the middle of the last century
