The collection includes two reports of the priest Nikolai Opotsky (since 1922 - Bishop Macarius) - an “ideal community and the path to its restoration” and "sorrow and the hopes of the rural shepherd" dedicated to the reform of the arrival and the revival of communal life. The published reports continue and develop a discussion that unfolded at the beginning of the twentieth century on the issue of parish reform and updating of church life. The collection also included the biography of the EP. Macarius (Opotsky).
