This anthology of patristic texts is an application to a new textbook on patrology for the undergraduate of spiritual educational institutions of the Russian Orthodox Church. The 3rd volume of anthology includes the texts of the Greek, Latin and Syrian fathers of the Church and church writers of the era of Christological disputes (V-VII centuries) These are fragments from the works of such well-known Orthodox theologians-Polemists as St. Cyril of Alexandria and Blzh. Feodirite Kirsky, Leonty Byzantine and Leonty Jerusalem, Emperor Justinian the Great and St. Sofroniy Jerusalem, excerpts from Corpus Areopagiticum and the works of St. Maxim the confessor, from monastic ascetic writing, as well as from the works of Western church writers. The publication is equipped with an index of biblical quotes, name and subject signs, which makes it a convenient manual for studying the course of patrology both in spiritual schools and in secular universities
