The holes of heaven

Saint Nikolai (Velimirovich), Bishop of Okrid and Zhich, is the largest Serbian spiritual writer of the 20th century, one of the most famous thinkers of the Serbian Church, an inspired and deep preacher and theologian. The genuine bearer of patristic Orthodoxy, the great expert on the human soul, the Orthodox faith and all the areas of our earthly being, Vladyka Nikolai explained the deepest thoughts and truths simply and accessible for everyone, despite his age and degree of education. His style is clear and unlucky, the poetic language is light and directly, but the strength of the truly gospel spirit that penetrates his work, does not indulge the reader into the holes of heaven, where the pure soul of the saint himself is fiercely striving
