The great post is called spiritual spring or spring of repentance, for every believer this time of increased prayer and, of course, reading the gospel. This book contains the gospel readings of the Great Lent in Church Slavonic and Russian languages and comments on them of modern clergymen. These thoughts of deeply believers are designed to help us not turn the great post into ritual, but to live it in such a way as to give our gratitude, faith and determination to be a gift to God forever.
