The book includes two, surprisingly relevant today, the journalistic works of G. Wells - “New World Order” (1940) and “Reason at the end of the stretched reins” (1945) The writer and thinker, who met with the rulers of the world - V.I. Lenin, I.V. Stalin, F.D. Roosevelt - and horrified by the new World War, Wells decided to give humanity his liberal recipe for salvation and prosperity, as well as protect the world from fatal mistakes. This recipe, in which the most important importance is assigned to the elimination of state sovereignty, fits perfectly into the program of the current “great reboot”, developed by the “owners of money” and recently voiced by Claus Schwab, the President of the World Economic Forum in Davos. On the example of a completely sincere, “classical” intellectual Wells, the reader will see the deep specifics of the Western mentality, whose good intentions the road is not at all into a “bright future”. And Wells himself, in his last work, “Reason at the end of the stretched reasons” wilted the death of the world, not prosperity, and even asked himself such an epitaph: “I warned you! Damn you are fools!
