The monograph by the bishop of Peterhof Siluan (Nikitin) is devoted to the history of the Finnish Orthodox Church in the second half of the 20th century, the history of the Finnish Orthodox Church in Russia. The period of the archpastoral works of Paul (Olmari) (Primate of the Federal Security Service from 1961 to 1987) is a time of great changes in its inner and external life. The abandonment of the idea of ​​creating a “national church”, liturgical reforms, activating contacts with the Orthodox and ugly world, an attempt to obtain autocephaly from the Patriarchate of Constantinople - these are only some issues, the disclosure of which is undertaken in this monograph. The source base is materials from the GARF funds, most of which have not been introduced into scientific circulation.
The monograph was based on a dissertation for the degree of candidate of theology, protected by the author at the Department of Church History of the MD in 2017.
