The book of Archbishop Averkia (Tausheva) continues the series of books "Holy Fathers and ascetics of piety about the last times." The following words of the Lord of Averkia accurately express the main idea of his sermons, which included in) that collection.
From the many patristic predictions of the first centuries of Christianity, we know that most Christians of the last time, who have faded the spirit, careless and warm -hidden, do not recognize the Antichrist when he comes, and willingly worship him as their spiritual leader, master and lord. And at the beginning he will hypocritically manifest himself as the greatest jealous and patron of all good and even Christianity, but only without Christ, and for many who are jealous of the canonical order of the Church and about church discipline, especially about obedience and subordination to the church authorities, will be strict canonist, severely punishing everyone who does not want to obey him and read him, relying on the letter of church canons. The worst thing is that the truth and lies are now so confused in the life of people, so mixed that even a conscientious and well -intentioned person sometimes can be difficult or impossible to figure out: where is the truth, and where is the lie? As often now, a large lie is hiding with little truth, and this small truth, which is especially exhibited and therefore, is clearly visible, misleads many who do not notice the great and destructive lies skillfully hidden behind it. And as a result, the lie triumphs. "
