Alexei Petrovich Lebedev (1845-1908)-an outstanding Russian historian, author of numerous works on the history of the ancient Church, Ecumenical Councils, on the history of the Church of the Byzantine and Prevention periods, Honored Professor of the Imperial Spiritual Academy and Professor of Moscow University, founder of his own scientific school, brilliant Lecturer and teacher.
