John Zlatoust (c. 347 - September 14, 407) - Archbishop of Constantinople, theologian, one of the three universal saints and teachers of Orthodoxy, along with the saints Vasily the Great and Gregory the Theologian. This publication in 12 volumes is a complete collection of creations of St. John Chrysostom. These creations appeared in the golden age of patristic thought and make up a whole library (460 books, messages and conversations) They constituted their favorite reading of our ancestors from generation to generation, corresponded, on their basis were compiled collections of wise thoughts for all occasions. John Chrysostom is a really comprehensive spiritual genius, and in his multi -volume works, every mind, seeking spiritual truth and deep edification, can find satisfaction. It is amazing that many messages of the saint were written in our time: the situations and problems raised in them are so recognizable, the world in which the saint lived, to our modern world, is so similar.
