The clergyman Nikolai (Mogilevsky, 1877-1955), Metropolitan of Alma-Ata and Kazakhstan-one of the great asses of our time, a man of holy life, a prayer book, shepherd of shepherds, who passed many trials in life. At the Jubilee Bishop Cathedral of 2000, Metropolitan Nikolai was ranked to the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church. In the book from the new series "On guard of the faith" of the publisher of the Sretensky monastery, his instructions, advice, memories of him are collected.
