The book proposed to the reader continues a series of publishers, telling about the Russian Athos. This time we introduce our readers with his predecessors, contemporaries and followers of Jeroschimonah Jerome (Solometsov), the elder-spiritor of the Russian Holy Panteleimon monastery, and the hegumen of the monastery of Schiarchimandrite Makariy (Sushkin).
The biography and spiritual heritage of these great elders have already been published.
Biographies presented in the book introduce the reader not only with the outstanding personalities of the ascetics, but also with the history of the Russian Panteleimon monastery, starting from 1803 and ending with 1940. The book was compiled by sources, both already well -known and archival materials published for the first time.
