The book of the outstanding modern biblical Bruce Metzger has been a fundamental study of the handwritten tradition and transmit the text of the New Testament for almost half a century. This publication, processed and supplemented, prepared in collaboration with the famous American theologian Bart D. Erman, covers the latest achievements in the field of New Testament textology. It briefly describes the long -known and re -open manuscripts, given theoretical justification and practical examples of textual analysis of discrepancies in these manuscripts.
