Studies that have compiled this publication are the processed and supplemented texts of the reports presented at the International Scientific Conference “Soviet Judaic: History, Problems, Personals”, at the Russian State University, the collection includes articles of Russian, Belarusian, American and Israeli historians, ethnologists, philologists and cultural scientists various aspects of the history of the Soviet Judaic - a set of scientific disciplines, the main object of the study of which are Jews, their history, religion, culture, languages, etc. The authors actualize on this research field such important universal phenomena as the interaction of personal and social principles, the temporal and regional features of the institutional history of Soviet Judaic, including the phenomenon of unofficial scientific searches within the framework of the so -called Parallel science in the USSR in the last decade of its existence.
