This book has a double goal: firstly, from the point of view of the Orthodox Christian doctrine of the afterlife, to give an explanation of modern "posthumous" experiments that have aroused such interest in some religious and scientific circles, and secondly, to bring the main sources and texts containing the Orthodox The doctrine of the afterlife. If now this teaching is so poorly understood, then this is largely a consequence of the fact that in our "enlightened" times, these texts are in oblivion and completely “went out of fashion”. We tried to make these texts more understandable and affordable to the modern reader. There is no need to say that they are an infinitely deeper and useful reading than the now popular books about “posthumous” experience in which, even if they are not only ordinary sensation, there can still be nothing but external spectacity because they do not have a whole and true doctrine of the afterlife
