The published work of the “shepherd of Erm ", the“ age ”of which is almost 2000 years old, belongs to the era of" husbands of the apostolic "(I-II centuries), and in the first centuries in its authority in the church it was reckoned with the books of the Holy Scriptures of the New Testament. It contains mysterious revelations about the near end of the world, the coming of Christ, the fate of the Church and an individual. Angels play a special role in this work, like messengers of divine will. These revelations are presented in a vivid visual form of symbolic visions and deep images-alleges, which, together with the explanations subsequent in the text, makes them widely accessible and understandable. At the same time, the “Erma’s shepherd” has an almost artistic plot outline of the story. The publication is preceded by an introductory article by Professor MDA A. I. Sidorov and is intended for the widest circle of readers.
