A collection of works of an outstanding scientist and teacher, professor Andrei Igorevich Kirillov was published in memory of him and his contribution to Russian science, education and education. The book consists of two parts: scientific and pedagogical works and scientific articles and plenary reports with which it performed in many countries of the world. In the first part, we are talking about the social importance of science and how difficultly scientific achievements turn into textbooks, it explains why the profileization of a comprehensive school does irreparable harm, produces “education” (A.I. Solzhenitsyn), does not contribute to the dialogue of humanitarian and naturally and naturally -cound cultures and does not form a scientific worldview, tells about the role of applied mathematics and much more. The second part of the book contains scientific works and is addressed to scientists. Nevertheless, for example, a mathematical interpretation of the problem of life and fate will interest any reader and at least promptly to re -read (or read for the first time) the great novel by Vasily Grossman “Life and Fate”. The book leads the reader to the answers to the following questions: what is education, education and education? What is their role in human life, society, state? How did they develop from the 9th to the 20th century? How to judge their quality? The book is addressed to students and their parents, teachers, scientists, methodologists, students and graduate students of pedagogical specialties and all those who are interested in the history of Russian society, biographies of our outstanding compatriots, as well as the essence and genesis of their ideas
