Archpriest Rodion Putyatin (1807–1869) was the rector of the Transfiguration Cathedral of the city of Rybinsk in 1845-1862. A graduate of the Moscow Theological Academy, a professor of literature of the Yaroslavl Theological Seminary, Father Rodion was one of the most respected priests. His catechism teachings before the revolution were published 26 times. In the present
