The book talks about the life and ministry of Archimandrite Kirill (Pavlova) (2017) - the “All -Russian confessor”, to which hundreds of thousands of believers applied for the spiritual advice in the 1970s and 2000s. The words of the Gospel can be said about him: you are the light of the world. The city standing at the top of the mountains cannot hide (Matt. 5.13) And at the same time, his own life was so intimate that so far it is still known about it. The author’s memories will help the reader understand many complex issues: what is the spiritual life, what is the essence of senile ministry, how could the innermost and incomprehensible “feat of patience” be transferred, which the father carried in his illness for thirteen years?
