Two issues of the literary collection "Scythians" saw the light in 1917 (collection of the 1st) and in 1918 (collection of the 2nd) in Petrograd. The authors who took part in them shared the ideology of the so -called "Scythian", considering the revolution in Russia as a messianic anti -bourgeois folk movement. In the collections, Ivanov-Rebel programs were published, as well as the works of S. Yesenin, A. Belo, V. Bryusov, M. Prishvin, L. Shestova A. Remizov, O. Forsh, N. Klyuyeva, E. Zamyatin, etc.
The texts of collections are given to the norms of modern spelling. The original composition has been reprinted for the first time since 1918. As an application, the publication is supplemented by materials to the third collection of the "Scythians", planned, but never saw the light
