In 2017, the entire fullness of the Russian Orthodox Church celebrated the anniversary: the 100th anniversary of the Local Council, on which the abolished by the will of Emperor Peter the First Patriarchate was restored. The Local Council, held in Moscow in 1917, chose the priestly with the High Priest of the Moscow Saint Tikhon (Vellavin) to the throne. It was to him that the Lord judged leading a church ship during disasters and hardships that fell upon our homeland. Patriarch Tikhon gave himself to this ministry, meekly carrying his cross. This book covers the entire biography of St. Tikhon, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, from birth to a blessed death. The book uses documents from various archives, museums and libraries.
