"Saint Luke (Voyno -Yasenetsky) is a book about one of the most revered Russian saints of the twentieth century. He was a wonderful surgeon and a world -famous scientist, a talented preacher, archbishop, in the most difficult years for the Church, who cared for the preservation of faith among the Russian people who did not afraid to openly confess faith and tell people about our Lord Jesus Christ. In this book, readers will get acquainted not only with his biography, but also learn about those many miracles that happen by prayers to the saint. Also, the compilers posted information about the circumstances of its glorification, about where and which temples are built and consecrated in his honor, the features of the iconography of the saint, which can be read quite rarely where.
