Saint Dominic was one of the most famous holy Middle Ages. It began to be read almost immediately after his death, and then Christians from all over the world began to turn to him in prayers. Dominic was born in the region of Staraya Castile. His childhood and youth are hidden behind the main work of his life - a preaching and the struggle for the appeal of the lost, including the Cathars and the Albigans, who receded from Christian truth.
He suggested to his associates the evangelization following the example of the apostles: wandering in complete poverty, to preach the Word of God, while maintaining the most valuable forms of monastic life.
