The proposed collection was prepared by employees of the Scientific Center for the History of Theology and Theological Education of the Theological Faculty of PSTU and includes publications and translations, united by the general theme of the history of the Russian theological tradition. An interested reader will find here both rare and first published texts and materials devoted to facts, personalities and problems that have not yet attracted serious attention of researchers. Each publication and translation are equipped with an introductory article and comments that help the reader fully understand the content of the source. The fifth release of the collection “Russian theology: research and materials” is useful for both research specialists and students of spiritual and secular schools. The materials published in this issue will attract attention and all those interested in the tradition of Russian theology, church history, religious philosophy, Russian culture
