In his new book, A. A. Kostryukov continues the study of the phenomenon of the Russian foreign church, without which it is now unthinkable to imagine the life of Russian emigration in the twentieth century. The foreign church, based on the word of truth about persecution and the spiritual leadership of emigration, continued its independent path after the Soviet state abandoned the policy of physical destruction of the church. What was the reason for the desire of the Russian foreign church to maintain its independence? Did the emigrant bishops really collaborated with Hitler? What was the connection between the death of Stalin and the decision of the foreign church to take the clergy of the Moscow Patriarchate through repentance?
