Siluan Athos is known to the whole Orthodox world as one of the greatest ascetics of the New Age. The Monk Siluan came from the Russian peasants, worked on the Holy Mountain. Glorified in the cathedrals of the Monk Russian Svyatogorsk, Athos Rev. and in the cathedrals of the Voronezh, Lipetsk and Tambov saints.
The spiritual elder in the early 1930s spoke of the proximity of the Last Judgment ... A means of getting rid of sorrows and death for Russia is one saving repentance: "Do not grieve, peoples, that it is difficult for you to live.
