Julius Fuchik, a Czech journalist, a participant in the resistance movement, was captured by the Gestapo in April 1942. While in the Pankratz prison, he wrote the most famous text in the world "Reporting with a loop on the neck". 167 sheets on papigeric paper secretly carried out two overseer sympathizing with the writer. On September 8, 1943, Julius Fuchik was executed.
After the release from the concentration camp in 1945, his wife Gusta collected hidden sheets and published a book, which was subsequently translated into 70 languages. The proposed publication included the famous articles of Yu. Fuchik, as well as the memories of his wife.
