The author explores the phenomenon and features of the transfer of religious memory between the three generations of the Chernozemye peasants in the context of the ban on religious practices within the framework of the 20th century, isolate the schemes for transmitting religious memory, its forms, mechanisms and transformation. The study contains original comments on people living in the territory of the former Kursk province. These qualitative interviews were collected by the author for two years (2016-2017)
