This book presents various aspects of the most important and fundamental eternal problem for a person - which almost every of us thinks over - the goals and meaning of earthly life. Moreover, this problem is considered both from a common point of view and from the point of view of Christian anthropology.
In detail the approach to the concepts of "goal" and "meaning" of life. General (identical) and various aspects of the goals of life, characteristic of different worldviews, are identified. The line is justified, beyond which fundamental discrepancies begin in understanding these aspects. The features and mental basis of the choice of the purpose of life are shown and its logical and mystical aspects are revealed. It is described about possible sources of information about the afterlife life, the faith in which is a decisive criterion when choosing the goal of earthly life: the phenomena of the souls of the dead, the narratives of the resurrected from the dead and survived the clinical death, the show of the kingdom of heaven or hell with earthly life, as a direct mystical experience. Much attention is paid to the Christian point of view on the purpose of life. The necessary explanations for the text are given) "and determination of the terms used.
