“Reconcile with God!”, The whole life of Archimandrite Antonin (Kapustina) (1817-1894) was the embodiment of this call. Whatever the father of Antonin did, he preached from the amvon, conducted soul -saving conversations or wrote letters, answering spiritual and everyday questions - his main goal was to bring his interlocutors closer to God, to understanding the spiritual foundations of being. Even when the active archimandrite was immersed in the affairs of everyday life: he acquired lands in Palestine and was engaged in the construction of churches, schools, hospitals, hotels for pilgrims - his life remained selfless service to God, neighbor and Russia. The word Archimandrite Antonina is hot, sometimes unexpected, performed by paradoxes, but always deep and living. Father Antonin has largely overtook his time, his instructions sound modern and effective today, nourishing the soul, indicating us with the path of reconciliation with God
