The textbook "Readingomathy in Homileta" is an auxiliary material for the previously published textbook "Homiletics" Archimandrite Simeon (Tomachinsky) and Bureg V.V. And it is a collection of texts of both ancient fathers and teachers of the Church, and modern pastors of the Church, which are examples of building sermons.
The publication included: the Nagor’s sermon of Jesus Christ, the sermons of the apostles Paul and Peter, St. Grigory Dvoestrov, the thoughts and fragments of the announcement of teachings and tombstones, thematic sermons and the interpretations of liturgical texts of both ancient and modern authors: St. Theodore Studit and St. right. John of Kronstad, St. Filaret of Moscow and St. Ignatius Bryanchaninova, archbishop. Luke of Voino-Yasenetsky and Archim. John the peasant, the patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill and Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeev, Metropolitan Anthony of Surozhsky and Metropolitan of Kyiv Onufry.
The texts of the sermons given in the reader are an example of style, composition, the use of rhetorical techniques and sources in building a sermon - explain to the clergyman how he should convey the word of God and basic Christian truths to the mind and hearts of laity.
These texts reveal to the reader an understanding of the main meaning of the life of a Christian - compounds with Christ the Savior, fill the positive content of not only a person’s internal life, but also external activities in the field of personal and social relations.
