Textbook on the course Latin language for the undergraduate of spiritual schools. The author-compiler Igumen Dionysius (Schlenov) The training book includes mainly fragments of patrician texts and a dictionary. The collection is preceded by an introductory article on the general issues of studying Christian Latin. The first part contains vulgate texts. The second part is a collection of excerpts from the works of Latin patrician literature for selective reading at the discretion of teachers: lactans, St. Ambrose Mediolansky, St. Cyprian Carthage, Blzh. Jerome, St. Ilaria Pictavian, Blzh. Augustine, Tertullian. The third part includes a selection of Christian proverbs and brief sayings from the collection attributed to the Bede to the Honorable (VIII century) The dictionary contains more than 5,000 words, where, along with Latin words, Greecoms, hebraisms and aramism are especially clarified.
