This book is the third, substantially expanded and corrected, publication of the book about the "sovereign" icon of the Mother of God. It collected everything, one way or another, connected with this great Russian Orthodox shrine: services, akathists, prayers, legends about the phenomenon and evidence of veneration of this image of the Most Holy in Russia and the Russian foreign country for almost nine dozen years. For the first time with the most possible completeness in the collection, the historical development of the iconography of this miraculous image, the circumstances of the miraculous phenomenon and - most importantly - are the opinions about the place that the “sovereign” icon in the divine household of Holy Russia - the Third Rome is given
