This book includes the texts of Psalter in Church Slavonic and Russian. Unlike the synodal translation of the Bible from Church Slavonic, the Russian text of this psalter is translated from the Greek septaging and corresponds to the psalter, which is used in Orthodox worship. This translation into Russian is made by P.A. Yungerov, an outstanding Russian scientist, was approved by the Holy Synod in 1876
