This publication is the psalter of the holy prophet and Tsar David, one of the most important for the Orthodox worship of the Books of the Old Testament, translated into Russian, with indications of a special assistance in everyday needs and weaknesses. The peculiarity of the publication is that the Russian translation of Psaltiri was made not by the Masoretic text (as mainly the Synodal edition of the Bible), but was made by Septuagint by the famous biblicalist, professor of the Kazan Theological Academy P. A. Yungorov (1856-1921) in 1915
