This book will appeal to those who want to better understand the meaning of Psaltiri and learn to read in the church-Slavonic. It contains surprisingly a lot of useful material. The Church Slavonic text of the Psalms is equipped with a parallel translation into Russian. The translation was made in 1915 by the professor of the Kazan Theological Academy Pavel Alexandrovich Yungerov (1856-1921) from the Greek text of the Septuagint, from which the Church Slavonic translation was also made.
