Professor I.V. Popov, who headed the department of patrology in MDA, made a significant contribution to the development of domestic patrological science. His works are recognized and appreciated by leading specialists in patrician in Russia and abroad. For many years, the unique theological heritage of I.V. Popov was under the back. This collection includes his works published in rare and inaccessible publications.
Volume II "Personality and teaching of blessed Augustine"

This book is the first volume of the monumental work of Professor I.V. Popova “Personality and Teaching of Blessed Augustine”, defended as a doctoral dissertation at the St. Petersburg Theological Academy. Labor I.V. Popova was awarded the Prize of Metropolitan Makarii and, according to the recall of the rector of the Moscow Theological Academy of Professor A.P. Orlova, far exceeds by thoroughness all the experiments of the spiritual personality of Augustine in both the translated and original literature. Labor has not lost its meaning even today.
