The new book of Alexei Kirillovich Simonov, the famous film director, writer, screenwriter, journalist, is a collection of memoirs and stories that arose in different years and for various reasons. It consists of three “halls”, which readers are offered to take a walk, as in an exciting exhibition.
The first “Hall” is dedicated to the writer"s relatives: parents - Konstantin Simonov and Evgenia Laskina, grandparents. The second and third “halls” are memories of youth and meetings with such famous people of his time as Leonid Utesov, Galina Ulanova, Yuri Nikulin, Alexander Galich, Bulat Okudzhava, Alexey German. which the young man passed, a “contemporary” and the pop studio of Moscow State University “Our House”, about the sixties, about the highest directorial courses and “Novaya Gazeta”
