For centuries, the wise paternal warning against drunkenness, then the formidable sentence of an inexorable judge, or a prayer similar to crying to the mother have been heard for centuries. The terrible vice of mankind is considered from different angles, and it is clear that he does not make his shameful stigma on everyone who is devoted to him, he leads to inevitable destruction. A crippled soul, body diseases, premature old age and death, children with hereditary arrangement to diseases and vices, various kinds of crimes with killings and suicides - all these are the most terrible satellites of drunkenness. All human virtues are dying in a drunkard, a moral feeling stalls, the mind is darkened, the heart strates, becoming unable to feel the grief of their neighbors, nor their joy. No wonder in the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament in many places a warning is given against this passion, as from a serpent. The poverty, the dullness of the mind, debauchery and any disaster and grief, it portends all the vice devoted to this. According to the teachings of the New Testament, the drunkard will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Scientists of ancient times and our contemporaries unanimously agree that drunkenness is such an evil that captures all aspects of human being, destroys its material well -being, physical, mental and moral. “Dear the strength of people, alcohol prepares a frail, sore and spirit, sows illness and death, produces tens of thousands of mentally ill and criminals annually, fills prisons, hospitals and hard labor.”
