The tall lama of the Tibetan tradition of Kagyu is Kalu Rinpoche. Before gone to a single meditation resemblance for 12 years, he studied with many outstanding teachers from different traditions. He was identified as the embodiment of the activity of Jamgon Congtrus Lodrao Thae, one of the greatest scientists of Kagyu tradition. Rinpoche was one of the first Tibetan masters who happened to study in the West.
The fifth book of the series, which combines three works previously published separately, sets out the main provisions of Buddhism from the point of view of the diamond chariot - Vajrayana. The basic categories and concepts of the teachings of the Buddha are considered, such as four noble truths, bardo, mandala, Mahamudra and many others.
About the author: Kalu Rinpoche (1915-1989), the great Buddhist teacher and master of meditation, was born in Eastern Tibet and studied there in monasteries and hermit centers. For many years he was in solitude in deserted mountainous areas. Then he was called upon to return to the monastery to give teachings and instruct in practice. Rinpoche left the country and settled in India a few years before China captured Tibet. Since that time, he traveled a lot, transmitting teachings and basing centers in Asia, Europe and North America, where his tradition is supported by his tradition of meditation practice
