The proposed book is devoted to the problems of the relationship between philosophy and religion. More specifically: the problems of the relationship between philosophy and Christianity philosophy (from Greek, the word translates as “love for wisdom”), as historians and philosophers themselves recognize, has existed from the 7th century before the birth of Christ, and Christianity will soon be two thousand years old. The problems of the relationship between philosophy and Christianity arose literally at the time of the origin of Christianity, that is, they are already about two thousand years old. All this time, philosophers and representatives of the Church discussed such burning issues as the boundaries between philosophy and Christianity, the need to study and understand philosophy by Christians and, conversely, Christianity - philosophers, the correlation of the truths of philosophical knowledge and Christian faith, the relative ability of philosophy and Christian faith to learn different spheres Being: nature, society, man, God. In the Christian church, in the initial centuries, a systematic idea of the world and God in the form of theology, which had some signs of philosophical knowledge, began to form in the initial centuries. The problems of the relationship between philosophy and Christianity were transformed into the problems of relations between philosophical and theological sciences
